David Zhang
Executive Director
David is a scholar with a background in academia, where he was a tenured professor at Rice University and held many collaborations with institutions such as Harvard and Yale. He was awarded the esteemed Presidential Early Career Award in 2019. Although David also co-founded several life science startups, including NuProbe USA and Torus Biosystems, his primary focus has always been on advancing scientific innovation. Today, he channels his academic experience and insights into our non-profit organization, striving to effect positive change in our world through the power of research and knowledge.

Chris Capelli
Director
Chris is a leader in strategic healthcare ventures, bringing substantial knowledge from his leadership role at MD Anderson's Strategic Ventures. Notably, his strength lies in healthcare strategy development, vital for advancing medical research and patient care. As the former Chief Scientific Officer at Soliton and now a Scientific Officer & Medical Device Advisor for Abbvie, Chris has effectively bridged the gap between invention and implementation.

Bonnie Wang
Director
Bonnie is a professional adept in managing operations in the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as the Chief of Staff at Pupil Bio, Bonnie excels in overseeing the organization's strategy and operations with a keen eye for detail and efficiency. Her previous role as Chief of Staff at NuProbe highlighted her versatile skills in project management, strategic marketing, and infrastructure development, overseeing the buildout of a 17,000 sq ft laboratory space.
